Effectiveness of Training Sessions on a Measure of Optimism and Pessimism Concepts among the Kindergarten Children in the District of Al-Shobak in Jordan

Abstract


The current study aimed to examine the effects of training sessions on children’s levels of optimism versuspessimism. among the kindergarten children in the district of Shobak in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted 21children whom their ages were between 5 to 6 years old. A training program was applied. The level of optimism andpessimism among the kindergarten children were measured through the use of notes cards consisted from 12 items.The results of the study showed that there were significant differences in the level of optimism versus pessimismbased among participants’ before and after applying the program in favor of the post- measure.
