Roxanne HelmStevens joined the School of Business and Management at Azusa Pacific University (APU) in 2000—teaching in both the Graduate and Undergraduate Programs. In 2007, she accepted the Chair position for the Master of Arts in Management program. Her areas of teaching include organizational behavior, management, business, and organizational development and change.
Prior to joining APU, HelmStevens worked in public and private industry for 20 years, during which time she held management positions in various industries. Throughout her corporate career, HelmStevens received recognition and numerous awards for her work in performance improvement, benchmarking, and best practices. Active in her field, she received national certifications from the International Society for Process Improvement and the American Society for Training and Development.
HelmStevens received her DBA with a specialization in Strategic Management from Alliant International University. Her MBA, from Azusa Pacific University, includes specializations Leadership and Human and Organizational Development. She has participated in national and international conferences, presenting and publishing on the topics of strategic business management, organizational behavior, educational leadership, and service-learning.
