Introduction Social justice and its significance have become increasingly important issues in all areas of business as organizations have recognized the importance of equality and opportunity for everyone and the value of diversity and inclusion in organizations. This special issue aims to provide a forum to discuss issues associated with a variety of topics associated with the fair treatment of individuals in organizations and the importance of social justice as factors that are not only morally and ethically virtuous but that enhance the effectiveness of organizations. Potential research topics include, but are not limited to, the following: Diversity, inclusion, belonging, and related topics and their social importance. The benefits that accrue to businesses, individuals, and society as a byproduct of social justice. Factors that enhance the ability of individuals and organizations to overcome bias of all types. The role of leaders in organizations in creating cultures that enhance employee participation, engagement, empowerment, and belonging. Other issues that enhance opportunity, promote individual and organizational virtuousness, and increase employee wellbeing associated with social justice.
