Postdoctoral and Ph.D. in Educational Sciences from the University of Minho (UMinho), Braga, Portugal, with degree recognition by the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Holds a Master’s degree in Education from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), and postgraduate specializations in Academic Advising for Distance Education and in Mathematics Teaching Methodology. Holds a licentiate degree in Pedagogy, a licentiate degree in Mathematics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. Also works as a pro bono civil lawyer.
Currently a Tenured Professor of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education (EBTT) at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás – Rio Verde Campus (IF Goiano), and a Collaborating Professor in the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education (PPGECM) at the Federal Institute of Goiás – Jataí Campus (IFG).Institutional Coordinator of the Pedagogical Residency Program and former Coordinator of the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation (PIBID). Leader of the EducAção Research Group (IF Goiano – Rio Verde Campus) and member of the Research Group on Educational Investigation at the Federal University of Rondonópolis (UFR). Research interests include Teacher Education, Professional Development, Teacher Identity, Pedagogical Knowledge and Practices, Science Teaching, and Professional and Technological Education.
