Announcing an ‘Excellent Article’ Reward for Author(s) of articles published in the World Journal of English Language

‘Excellent Article(s)’ Selection Criteria

In order to improve the quality of the journal, the World Journal of English Language’s editorial team will gift author(s) of excellent articles published in their journal a cash award of $300.  About five percent of these published articles will be selected for an ‘Excellent article’ award each year based on the following criteria:

 

1. An overall similarity Index of ≤15% and single source matches of  ≤3%  (Articles will be screened for plagiarized content using CrossCheck, Powered by iThenticate).

2. An average reviewers’ grade of ≥4 based on the following reviewers’ grading criteria: 5=Excellent, 4=Good, 3=Average, 2=Below Average, 1=Poor

3. A higher CiteScore Scopus metric when compared to other articles published in the World Journal of English Language the same year
